Pa'a Li'a Pa'a

In this description of the lashing style, the lash is started with a loop at the center of the lashing cord which is laid over the wae. This loop is called Puka Lou. The entire length of the cord passed through the loop and is pulled tight securing the cord to the wae.  In this description one side of the lash is completed before the other side is begun.  This one sided process is called Kaukahi.
